The room was a river view balcony, which was roomy and comfortable, clean, and pretty nicely laid out. There are a couple steps to get up to the sitting area/balcony, but nice to have a separate little area. Lovely to have the balcony to just take in the air, see the sky, the river. It was a little rainy and chilly to sit out there, but great to be able to just walk outside at any hour! We LOVED the breakfast. Quite tasty, and order off the menu, with the ability to just choose items as we wished, and great continental options also available. I highly recommend the pancakes! The location was great for us too, though we needed to almost daily take the bus into the city. Catching the bus was pretty easy though! It was nice to come back to the quiet village of Leixlip, though the hotel offered a great bar/pub experience! We didn't experience much noise at all in our room except with slightly noisy neighbors one night. The staff were friendly and helpful across the board! There's even an Aldi just up around the corner if you need to get a few things, along with a lovely little convenience store just outside the hotel and a few other restaurants and even another sort of night club across the street. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Could have more options for breakfast but what was on it was great very tasty, staff more then friendly and accommodating, said good morning everytime I passed came for a course and they were more then helpful with telling me where it was and looking up what exact room, bar service was a bit slow but staff very nice apart from one young boy who didn’t want to be there it was clear to tell and put us off the service didn’t want to deal with him as he was arrogant and seemed p*ssed off he had to be there. Room was very comfortable had all amenities cleaning staff were fab no complaints more thne obliging courtyard was fabulous and is very central to bus stops

I was disappointed with breakfast. I had the vegetarian because it’s all they could offer because of gluten allergies. There was no asparagus as on the menu. I had to hand in my own bread for the chef toast. I asked the waitress to let the chef know, the bread will burn very easily, please be careful with it. They burnt 4 slices of my bread. I ended up with nothing. Absolutely ridiculous when they were told be careful. I couldn’t tell you about the food in the restaurant and it wasn’t open. The bar menu didn’t have an option for me to eat anything because of allergies. I had to go elsewhere.

I never realised it before but they have their own water feature. Very cool. Majestic. Staff very extremely friendly and no request was a big deal. Entertainment in the bar was good. "A ginger with a guitar" a quote from the girl herself but she did a good performance. I just don't remember her name, she's a regular I would think. Seemed to have a fan club....Alli I think her name was.

All the staff were friendly and helpful, the gentleman who greeted me on arrival on the evening of 31st March exceptionally so. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower worked well. I had a lovely view across the lawn to the field at the back. The Wi-Fi was very good. The room had a desk with chair and plenty of power points, including by the bed.
